The Birth of No New Money

In order to prevent a funding increase for abstinence-only-until-marriage sex ed programs, SIECUS, Advocates for Youth, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America have unveiled the No New Money Web site.

Why is it called No New Money? SIECUS and its supporting organizations want the U.S. House Appropriations Committee to give no new money to certain abstinence-only education programs. (Click here to read about these programs.)

The Web site aims to be a main hub for comprehensive sex ed advocatesa place for them to gain and sharpen their activist tools. The site also puts users in direct contact with political representatives through its Take Action section. Want to contact your representative and tell him/her that you want No New Money for abstinence-only-until-marriage education? Click here!
