Abuse and Violence
Who abuses and who is abused?
Statistics say that most abusive relationships occur between a man and a woman, with the man being the abuser. But, some suspect that many men are abused. Theyre just less likely to talk about it because they feel it makes them look weak, which is not true.
Abuse can happen in all types of relationships between boyfriend and girlfriend, husband and wife, parent and child, friends and same-sex couples. It can happen to people with little money and to people with tons of cash. Abusive people can have college degrees or very little education. Same with people who are abused. Abuse can happen between people of all races, cultures and religions.
It doesnt really matter who the abuser or the abused is. Abuse is ALWAYS wrong.
