Pregnant With a Swollen Heart

As a little girl, I always wanted a family of my own. You know, the nice little house with two or three kids, a dog or cat, and, of course, a loving husband. I always saw young girls having kids without dads. As for me, personally, I thought that would never happen. Well, let’s just say REALITY came knocking at my door and just totally knocked it down! I found out that I was pregnant two weeks into my pregnancy, at the young age of 15.

  Will a doctor be able to tell if I've had sex, and will she tell my mom? I�m 16.

  No one can look at a girl and tell for sure that she�s had intercourse. A doctor might be able to look at a girl�s vagina and see if she has a hymen or not. But there's no way a doctor can know what caused the hymen to tear or stretch.   more...

  I found this article to be really helpful and filled with insight and honesty. From the time I was 11 years old until the age of 16, I was called a "slut" by my peers. Both girls and boys would call me demeaning names, like "ugly," "slut," and "whore."
